Technology in the Classroom:

Creation:- Technology can be used to spark creativity, inquiry and critical thinking
- Gives students choice in how they present their learning - Can be used as a tool to keep a record of their work |
Consumption:- Information is easily accessible allowing students to ask more questions and gain more understanding in a shorter amount of time
- Students are able to progress through the creative process more quickly, reflecting and improving their work |
Curation:- Students make their own connections as they use technology
- Students are not limited to the teacher's view |
Connection:- Feedback can be given to students in a shorter amount of time because of the fast, easily accessible communication between peers/ the teacher
- Students can share resources with each other with programs like "Google Docs" - Can provide a place for students to reflect on their work and others using terminology and extending classroom conversations |
